Purpose and Scope
The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the business by accounting for Manufacturing, Customers, and Sales activities. This role presents a great opportunity for a candidate who enjoys a diverse work experience with potential for future growth.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for manufacturing accounting, including labor, costing, and variance analysis
- Prepare commission payment reports for internal and external sales representatives
- Accounts for customer program costs and business results
- Other accounting tasks such as intercompany, expense accruals, and intangibles
- Prepare month end reports and reconciliations
- Assist with external audits
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS or higher in Accounting and 4 years related experience
- Working knowledge of accounting principals
- Extremely strong math skills and attention to detail
- Advanced computer and data entry skills (proficiency with Excel)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Navision (Business Central) desired, but not required
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong Organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
